Hello to all, this is Kevin,
just got a call from Felina that it is my turn to
post and as many of you know, when Nin calls you had
better do what she says. It has been a great couple
of days for Rone. Things are improving daily. His
strength is better and he is now able to go to the
gym daily and start to run, just a couple of minutes
at a time, but considering he has been home 10 days
that is amazing. He told me that when he first got
home he didn't have the strength to make a pot of
coffee, now he is packing in the groceries. He goes
to the doctor or hospital almost daily to check his
blood levels (for the thinning of his blood, to
prevent clotting). You probably spot him at the gym
and shop daily. He is in and out of both and tries
to get home in the early afternoon to rest up before
the kids come home. As all of you can guess his
biggest concern and drive to get better is his
children, not a conversation goes by without mention
of them. They are all doing well and grateful to
have their Dad back at home as we all are. Tomorrow
morning Rone has to be in Spokane early to, if his
blood levels maintain, have his filters (or screens)
removed. This will be a very important step
for Rone as he reminds us daily that he just wants
to get back to where he was before Seattle. Steady
steps are taken everyday towards that and we all
can't wait for this to be behind us. As for the
Katzer Family Fund, it is overwhelming! With your
support we have paid nearly $10,000.00 in medical
bills, and they are just starting to roll in. Rone
is very uncomfortable about this. Celeste and I have
taken the lead and told him this is what people
wanted to donate for. So that he could recover and
not have the added stress of medical bills. He has
always paid it forward and that is coming back to
him now the way it should, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK
YOU! We will update soon, looking forward to a
great event next weekend. Thank you to Sherri
Hansen, Athena George and many others for putting
together such an awesome event. The donations for
the auction are rolling in so get your bidding cards
ready!

Hello to everyone,
Nin just stopped by the drugstore and asked me to give an update for today. Well as most of you know Felina and Rone got the orders at 2:45 yesterday that they could leave Harbor View and Rone could go to Chewelah for one night to sleep in his bed with his kids. So at 3PM yesterday the rental car company delivered a shinny compact Kia to the front of Harbor View. Rone walked himself out and by 9:30 last night he was home with his family. Up again and on the road early this morning to check into St. Lukes. Felina, Cody and Celeste spent the day with him and a team of doctors and therapists planning out the road ahead. Here is my understanding of what is to come. For the next two weeks Rone will be involved in intense physical therapy and care. For at least the first week, only family will be able to visit him and only one family member at a time. The family will again stay with him every night and be by his side as much of the day as possible. Rone is very determined to get going and do what he has to do to finish the job. There is work ahead but we are all confident that Rone is going to continue to amaze everyone and be back in town in know time. Thanks for your continued thoughts and prayers, this site will go on, the updates might be fewer, but any news we get we will share as soon as possible. Rone is in great hands, with everyone's support and love he will heal and be back to see us all soon! It has been one month this evening since this terrible event started, your support has helped in so many ways, THANKS AGAIN!
