Warning Description: Air Stagnation Advisory
Warning Date: 10:48 am PST on February 4, 2012
WarningSum:...Air Stagnation Advisory Remains In Effect Until 10 Am Pst
Tuesday Below 4000 Feet...
Warning Message:An air stagnation advisory below 4000 feet remains in effect
until 10 am PST Tuesday.
* Timing: through at least Tuesday morning.
* Locations include: valleys of the east slopes of the Cascades
including Leavenworth...wintrhop...and the Lake Chelan area.
Much of central and north central Washington including
Wenatchee...Waterville...Republic and Omak. The valleys of the
northeast Washington mountains including Colville...Chewelah...and
Cusick.
* Impacts: air quality will likely decrease through the weekend
into early next week.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
An air stagnation advisory indicates that due to limited movement
of an air mass across the advisory area...pollution has the
potential to increase to dangerous levels. Please check with you
local air quality agency for possible restrictions in your area.
